MY MOTHER AND BROTHER ALSO RESIDED IN JAPAN.
THE HISTORIANS HAVE FOCUSED ON OUR COURAGEOUS MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN WHO SERVED AT THE COLD FACE OF WAR ZONES, WITH MINIMAL DATA AND RECOGNITION FOR THOSE WHO SERVICED IN OTHER MILITARY CAPCITIES IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES, PARTAKING IN DUTIES THAT WERE REGARDED AS STRAGTERICALLY IMPORTANT MISSIONS, FOR THE AUSTRALIAN MILITARY FORCES.
TO ALL THOSE MEN AND WOMEN WHO PARTIFICATED IN UNBEARABLE WARS, AND SCARIFING THEIR LIVES FOR AUSTRALIA, WE ARE SINCERELY GRATEFUL. THIS ENABLES US TO LIVE OUR SECURE WONDERFUL LIVES IN 2022.
THANK YOU
ANDREA NEWCOMBE AND JANETTE (JANE) SMITH (LIVING) PROUD DAUGHTERS OF ALBERT GLYN BANDY – AUSTRALIAN MILITARY FORCES
