Dorothy was the daughter of George Douglas Bruce and Matilda Bruce nee Baxter.
World War 2 Service:
11 Jul 1940 Enlisted VX47772, Australian Army Nursing Service - Staff Nurse. Served at the Australian General Hospital in Papua New Guinea
Promotions: Sister 15.7.1940; Sister G.P.I 1.12.1941; Captain (AIF) 23.3.1943.
