Private Dorothy Madoline Job (Service No:VF388647) enlisted in the Australia Women's Army Service on 4 July 1942 and was attached to LoC Victoria. Private Job served in NSW with LoC Signals and was a Signaller/Lance Corporal when she was Discharged on 31 October 1945.

Pixie was born in Adelaide, South Australia in 1923 and was the youngest of five children of Spencer Roy Job (b1889 in Yunta, SA) and Madoline Ruby Green (b1883 in Melbourne, Victoria). Spencer (a Hotel Licensee) and Madeline married in 1914 at Port Pirie in SA. Spencer was a Hotel Licensee/Publican and he and his family lived in Port Pirie (Barrier Hotel), Wallaroo (Cornucopia Hotel), and Adleaide (Supreme Court Hotel). Spencer was a Manager in Melbourne when he enlisted in the Armyin 1942 (Staff Sergeant; Service No:VX129351) and was a Japanese PoW on board the Montevideo Maru in 1942 when it was sunk, killing all PoWs on board.

In 1944 in Sydney NSW, Pixie married Colin Falconer Sturm (b1922 in Perth WA) - Colin was serving with the RANR. Pixie and Colin lived in Melbourne, Victoria where Colin was a Busnessman. Following his death in 1987 Pixie moved to Adelaide where she died in 1997.
