Lorna was the daughter of Charles Norman and Alice Mary Norman nee Murphy.

Lorna passed away at the Repatriation Hospital in Heidelberg on 31.12.1948. Her remains were buried at Footscray General Cemetery.

Note: Her birth was registered as Gabrille Lorna Norman - her enlistment in the Australian Military Force and her death were registered as Lorna Gabriel Norman and on the Victorian Garden of Remembrance as Lorna Gabrielle Norman.
