Private Beryl Agatha Beeson (Service No:WF91202) served in the AWAS from 27 December 1942 to 6 April 1944.
Beryl was born in Mingenew, WA in 1924, fourth of nine children of Henry Patrick Beeson (b1889 in Greenough, WA) and Evelyn Louisa Fickling (b1897 in Pinjarra, WA). Henry (a Labourer at Moonyoonooka via Geraldton) served in WWI, and following his Discharge, he and Louisa married in 1919 in Perth. They lived in Midland Junction, Yandanooka and Mingenew, where they raised their family and Henry was a Farmer and Carrier.
Following her Discharge from the AWAS in 1944, Beryl married Maitland James Withnell (b1921 in Northam, WA) - Mailtand served in the ACMF (Private; Service No:W16636). Beryl and Maitland settled in Perth where they raised their family and Maitland worked as a Gardener and Truck Driver.
