Private Peggy Noel Brown (Service No:WF94127) served as a Typist with the AAWS from 10 April 1943 to 9 October 1943 with 12th Ordnance Stores and 7th Ordnance Depot.

Born in 1923 in Fremantle WA, Peggy was the daughter of Frederick William Brown (1890 in Fremantle, WA) and Nancy Hannah Jane Vickerman (b1897 in Coolgardie, WA). Frederick (a Tailor) and Nancy married in 1920 in Perth WA and settled in Fremantle where Frederick was a Tailor.

Peggy worked as a Tailoress in Fremantle WA and in 1943 married William Arthur Bright (b1922 in Fremantle WA) - William was serving in the Army. Peggy and William settled in Fremantle where William worked as a Taxi Driver and Proprietor. Peggy died in June 2002 and William in September that year.
