"A MILITARY MEDALLIST.

Corporal A F. Penn, whose name appeared in the honor list in ''The Advertiser" on January 25 as having been awarded the Military Medal, is a South Australian. He was well known in literary society circles, being an able debater. Prior to enlistment he was Government whip in the Union Parliament.
