Cecil John Brisbane HUXTABLE was born in Sydney NSW in 1889
His parents were John Perrin HUXTABLE and Gertrude Isabel HORSELL - they married on 3rd November 1879 at the residence of Robert Horsell in Adelaide, South Australia
He enlisted on 27th June 1916 with the Australian Army - he was with the 28th Battalion, 18th Reinforcements - Unit embarked from Fremantle, Western Australia on board HMAT Persic on 29th December, 1916
Cecil was Killed in Action on 4th October 1917 - he is buried in Tyne Cot Cemetery & also commemorated on the Australian War Memorial
He was awarded the British War Medal & the Victory Medal
