Enlisted 7th July 1915.
Embarked 15th January 1916.
He was 22 and the son of James and Kate Agnes Everitt of 4 Moreton Road, South Croydon, Surrey (at enlistment his parents’ address was given as Bank House, Strand Street, Sandwich, Kent).
He is remembered on the Sandwich St Mary war memorial which is on the west wall of St Mary's Arts Centre (formerly St Mary's Church), Church Street, Sandwich. It takes the form of a Cruciform wooden board with inscription and the names of the fallen in white-painted, incised, lettering.
