Son of Thomas and E. Simmons of Plum Grove, Upper Colo via Richmond NSW
18 June 1917 - his record show that he was 'mentioned for conspicuous bravery and gallantry in a recent offensive' however the is no record of whether this was put forward for official recognition.
26 December 1917 - to hospital with Bronchitis
