From Royal Dublin Fusiliers

Lance Corporal Patrick John Joseph Straney MM 10th Battalion Australian Imperial Force. Born in Dublin. Had previously served three years with the Royal Dublin Fusiliers. Enlisted in August 1914. Received a bullet wound to the hip in Gallipoli. Served in France and was later gassed in Belgium. Returned to Australia in October 1918.
