The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017, refer to pages 175 & 273. Prior to the war he was an electrical engineer of Carlton Vic. He enlisted 21st Aug 1914 aged 21 years. During his service he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and posted to the 10th Infantry Battalion. During his service he was awarded the Military Medal and a Distinguished Conduct Medal for services rendered. He survived the war, departing the UK for home 21st March 1919.
