Son of Charles Cooper and Mary Ellen Cooper of Clifford Street, Parramatta, NSW
On 28 January 1918 a court of inquiry was held to ascertain if he was killed by one of our own bullets which had been fired from the rear but it was found that no Lewis or Vickers guns were firing at the time Charles was hit nor could it be found from which direction the bullet was actually fired
