Brother of William Chivas who returned to Australia on 9 September 1919 having served with the NSW Re-inforcements, Elizabeth Ann Chivas, Edwin John Chivas, James Chivas, George Chivas, John Alexand Chivas, Nathaniel Chivas, Maggie Barrie Chivas, Annie Fraser Wallace Chivas, Isabel Smith Chivas and Charles Wallace Chivas
