Son of Annie Lawrence of Willow Grove, East Camberwell, Victoria later of Howard Street, Camberwell, Victoria.
Husband of Marie L.ouise Oliver of Surbiton Road, Kingston, England. Marie died in 1919. Address at discharge in 1917 was Sydney Villiage, Pelham Road, Wimbledon, England before moving to Woolwich England in 1920c.
Between 17 April 1919 and 30 January 1920 Samuel served with the Royal Field Artillery in Russia, Service number 290957 with the rank of Driver.
