Military Award
Word has been received that Sergt. Harold Jackson Geraghty, brother of the late Corporal William Geraghty, who was killed in action, has been awarded the French Croix-de Guerre for conspicuous gallantry in the field. General Castlenau presented the medal at a military investiture in the Champs Elysees. Sergt. Geraghty has been an interpreter to the Australian Army in France. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Geraghty of Woy Woy.
