MR. C. H. BANKS.
The death occurred on Friday last of Mr. Charles Henry Banks, a well-known citizen of Merrylands, resident of O'Neill Street. He leaves a wife, for whom there will be much sympathy. Mr. Banks was a returned soldier, and in the earlier days or the R.S.S. & A.I.L.A. branch was one of its live wires. He organised many social functions to finance the branch's activities. He was also a Political enthusiast, Three years ago Mr. Banks suffered a stroke, followed later by a second. He had not been physically
fit since then.
