SMITH - Officially reported killed in action in France on the 9th August, after 3 years' active service, Private Sidney John SMITH , youngest son of Harry and B A SMITH of 'Kia Ora' 108 Islington Street, Collingwood, and dearly loved brother of Harry, Kate, Maud and the late Sarah Viviane, Dolly; grandson of the late Henry John and Elizabeth SMITH of Kent England, late Daniel and Catherine O'Meara, of Boosey, aged 28 years. RIP. New Zealand papers please copy.
