"...909 Private Thomas Leslie Rowe, 27th Battalion of Wilcannia, NSW. A labourer prior to enlistment, Pte Rowe embarked with the Battalion from Adelaide aboard HMAT Geelong on 31 May 1915. He was killed in action in Belgium on 27 June 1916, aged 20." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
