Son of Bradley PERCIVAL OF 95 O'Hea Street, Coburg.

Served with the 39th Battalion, 10th Infantry Brigade.  In France from November 1916 to July 1917.  Gassed and wounded at the Battle of Messines Ridge on 7th June 1917.  Returned to Australia after 3 1/2 months in hospital in England and was discharged on 16th March 1918 as unfit for further service.

Clifton Eric Percival, 52, employed in survey section of the Forestry Department, was found dead in his bed at a Mullumbimby hotel yesterday morning.  He had not been in good health, and had been under medical treatment.
The body was viewed by the Coroner, Mr E. G. Davies, with Sgt. Wilson and the Government Medical Officer ,Dr D.D. Gibson, who later expressed the opinion that death was due to heart failure and there were no suspicious circumstances.  Percival was a returned soldier of the 1914-18 war. He is surviv d by his widow, who resides at Manly. A son is a resident of Canberra. Burial will take place in the Church of England portion of Mullumbimby cemetery, following a service at 4 pm in St. Martin's 'Church of England tomorrow.
