Staff Sergeant Keith Tasman Elliott Featherstone (Service No:V83669) served in the ACMF (20 April 1940 - 2 April 1947) with District Accounts Office (Vic).
Keith was born in Albert Park, Melbourne, Victoria in 1907, eldest of two children of Lindsay Robinson Mackey Featherstone (b1874 in Hobart, Tasmania) and Ethel Myra Elliott (b1883 at Port Melbourne, Victoria). Lindsay and Ethel married in 1906 in Melbourne, where they settled and raised their family and Lindsay was a Commercial Traveller until his death in 1911.
Keith was working as a Clerk in Melbourne in 1940 when he enlisted in the ACMF, and in 1942 in Melbourne married Margery Makin Horne (b1910 in Warrnambool, Victoria) - Margery had qualifed as a Nurse in 1931 and worked in Balmoral before moving to Melbourne where she worked as a Receptionist. Keith and Margery settled in Melbourne, where they raised their family and Keith was a Commercial Traveller. Keith died in London in 1981, and Margery in 2000.
