Also known as Francis Edgar he was born 20th October 1886 in Logan Village.
It is thought that he died in Perth Western Australia
His parents were John William and Mary Ann nee Ambrose.
He attended the Logan Village State School and belongs to a pioneer family of the area.
Edgar's older brothers Mauriced and William also served in the Boer War and WW1.
