Private Francis George Lott (Service No:V322001) served in the ACMF from 13 February to 16 April 1942 - Discharged as Medically Unfit.
Frank was born in Mooroopna, Victoria in 1909, eldest of two children of Francis (Frank) Charles Lott (b1877 in Branxholme, Victoria) and Jessie Roberta Cabel Scott (b1888 in Alberton, Victoria). Frank Snr was a Railways Worker and Electoral Officer at Leongatha, Alberton, Mooroopna and Yarram, and in 1908 in Branxholme, he and Jessie married. They settled in Rutherglen where they raised their family and Frank Snr was a Railways Employee and, in the 1930s, was local Manager for John Burrows Pty Ltd (Grain Stores). Frank Snr played football and cricket for Rutherglen, and was a member of the Minstrel Troupe and original Mugs Concert Party before his death in 1938.
Frank was a Labourer at Dugay's Bridge via Rutherglen where, in 1931, he married Ethel Frances Mitchell (b1905 in Rutherglen, Victoria). Frank and Ethel settled at Dugay's Bridge via Rutherglen, where they raised their family and Frank was a Labourer and Farmer. Frank was in Corowa, NSW in 1946 when he died. Ethel later remarried and died in 1981.
