Private Maxwell Green (Service No:V185666) enlisted in the ACMF on 2 January 1942 and was attached to the Recruit Reception Depot when he was Discharged on 22 September 1942.
Born in 1923 in Melbourne Victoria, Max was the youngest of two choldren of Vance James Green (b1886 in Melbourne, Victoria) and Maud Duggan (b1891 in Wagga Wagga, NSW). Vance worked as a Labourer and Warehouseman in Melbourne and in 1916 he and Maud married - following Vance's WWI service (Private; Service No:5612) the couple settled in Melbourne where they raised their two sons and Vance worked as a Clerk and Publicity Agent.
Max lived in Melbourne, Victoria where he was a Process Worker. Max died in 1997.
