Private Victor Oswyn Kelly (Service No:W85956) served in the ACMF with 14 Battalion VDC (WA) as a Corporal and Sergeant from 1 July 1942 to 15 October 1945.

Born in 1911 in Greenbushes WA, Victor was the eldest of twelve children of Oswin (Oss) John Kelly (b1893 in Warragul, Victoria and Amy (Nita) Juanita Lawrence (b1892 in Bunbury, WA). By 1898 Oss was living in Donnybrook WA with his parents and siblings. Oss (a Labourer) and Nita married in 1910 in Greenbushes where they lived and Oss worked as a Teamster for the Timber Corporation. By 1916 the family had moved to Pemberton where Oss was a Teamster and later Fitter's Labourer at No 1 State Mill. Oss was accidentally killed in the Pemberton bush in 1934.

Victor worked as a Saw Filer/Saw Doctor in Pemberton and in 1939 in Bridgetown WA he married Enid May Elliott (b1915 in Bunbury, WA). Victor and Enid settled in Pemberton where Victor was a Saw Filer until retiring to Busselton in the late 1970s. Enid died in 1980 and Victor in 2008.
