"THE LATE PRIVATE W. C. HILL.
Private W. C. Hill, who was killed in France on December 19 was the younger son of Mr. and Mrs. George J. Hill, of Paradise. He enlisted in November, 1915, and left for the front the following March. He was 28 years of age, and a favorite among a large circle of friends. Private Hill, prior to enlisting, had a garden in the Paradise district, which he left to answer the call of duty." - from the Adelaide Chronicle 10 Feb 1917 (nla.gov.au)
