Add my storyBiography contributed by Jillian Brewer
Leonard Valentine Knight was 18 years old when he enlisted in Geelong, using the name Leonard Victor Denvers. He claimed to have been born in Prahran to live in Barwon Heads.
He stated two months later that he did this because his parents would not consent to him joining the AIF, but he wanted to join his two brothers who were on active service. By May 1918, parents Johanna and Edward Knight had given consent.
