He served for many years after the War in the Citizen Military Force and retired with the rank of Major.

James Watson

Was stationed in Sydney for a major part of the War and the story he told was that he and others in his battalion were instrumental in the sinking of one of the Japanese Midget Submarines that managed to get in to Sydney Harbour.
