Lance Sergeant Keith Dean Parncutt (Service No:W50554) enlisted in the AMF on 6 January 1942 and was a Private attached to HQ Rottnest. Promoted to Lance Sergeant on 19 June 1942, he transferred to Australian Army Canteen Service (New Guinea Detachment) and served in New Guinea on two occasions (21 August 1943 - 19 March 1945 and 5 June 1945 - 18 December 1945). Lance Sergeant Parncutt was Discharged on 14 January 1946.

Born in 1909 in Subiaco, Perth WA, Keith was the second of five children (and only son) of John Parncutt (b1883 in Sydney, NSW) and Lily Maud Woolcock (b1883 in Ballarat, Victoria). John (a Junior Porter with WAGR) and Lily married in Perth in 1907 and settled in Subiaco where they raised their family and John worked with WAGR as a Porter and Clerk. 

Keith worked as a Shop Assistant and in 1940 in Cottesloe, Fremantle married Sheila Mary Morgan (b1914 in Fremantle, WA). Keith and Sheila settled in Fremantle where Keith worked as a Shop assistant and Clerk. Keith died in 1965 and Sheila in 1990.
