Arrived in Australia from USA in January 1915 aboard SS Boorel, disembarking at Melbourne, Victoria
Full name John Gregory Ouchirenko but served as John Ouchirenko.
When applying for Naturalisation on 2 June 1919 he gave his address as Howe Crescent, Albert Park, Victoria and that he was employed with Perryman's Engineering Company of South Melbourne. At the time he stated that his wife was Clara Ouchirenko of Pitton Hill, Salisbury, England and father of one child. Clara did not come to Australia
