Jack, as he was called by most of his family and friends was husband to Moya Elizabeth Née Hannagan, Tyrrell. The lived for the majority of their married life at 88 Roberts St in Essendon Vic. He was father to seven children, Peter, Kerry, Barry, Michael, Maryanne, Patrick and Phillip. He was much loved by all who knew him. For many years he was the spokesman for Ansett Airlines.
