He was born in Surry Hills, Sydney as Percy A TROGG in 1898 to Lydia Florence TROGG - no fathers name listed - Lydia married Thomas MINAMI in Sydney in 1901 (no details of her marriage to DARTIGUES)
He enlisted under the name of Henry PERCIVAL with the 19th Battalion & was discharged for unsuitable behavior and later made a declaration that his real name was Percival Trogg ATHOL which is probably another assumed name
He enlisted in Casula on 27th January, 1916 and embarked with the 31st Infantry Battalion from Melbourne on the HMAT Anchises on 14th March, 1916
Percival was Killed in Action in France on 28th August, 1918 and is buried in the Asseuvillers British Cemetery
