( RAAF) Air Training Corps - Essendon  Depot  6 July 1942 to 29th January 1943.

Enlistment in RAAF as Aircrew ( 1943) trade transfer to Mustering as Recorder (1944)

Overseas Service: Madang New Guinea from 28th March 1945 to 26th November 1945 with the 1st Tactical Air Force - HQ RAAF in support of operations in SWPA.

Awards Pacific Star / War Medal/ ASM 1939-45.

Discharged 1946.

Married 3rd September 1951 Scots Church to Norma Gilmour of Albert Park Victoria.

Member of the Williamstown Swimming and Life Saving Club ( Honour Board 1939-45).
