Add my storyBiography contributed by Rebecca Knol
Gwendoline Mary was the daughter of William Olver (1884 - 1965) and Elsie May (1960).
William was the first child of Richard Thomas Peardon Olver and Sarah Ann Olver (nee Davies). William (Bill) assumed the role as head of the family when his two brothers Henry (Harry) & Fred Olver went to the war.
Gwen married Bill Hayler (date unknown). They did not have children. Early in her career she worked in the office of Arnotts Biscuits. Gwen & Bill managed the Poowong Post Office from 1974 until her death in 1984. Her husband Bill died in 1978.
She had one brother William Keith Olver who worked with JB Were & Sons.
