Next of kin given as his sister  J. Armstrong of Timaru, NZ

Commenced return to Australia on 4 May 1917 on board HT Runic disembakring at Melbourne on 5 July 1917 before travelling overland to Sydney, NSW

In 1923 he was residing in the Peak Hill, NSW area

Medals: 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal

Served with the NZ Mounted Rifles for about eight years
