The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017, refer to pages 154 to 157, 264 and 284. Prior to the war "Harrie" was a customs clerk of Balmain NSW. He enlisted 25th July 1915 aged 23 years. He was promoted during his service to the rank of Lance Corporal. He survived the war and departed the UK for home 28th March 1919. Letters from Henry "Harrie" Cave have been donated to the Mitchell Library in Sydney NSW - refer ML MSS 1224.
