Glen was the eldest child of Arthur Glenas Maller (b1893 in Ipswich, QLD) and Mary Domenica Bertolotti (b1902 in Wallumbilla, QLD). Arthur (a Selector) and Mary married in 1923 in Wallumbilla - Arthur had served with the AIF (Private; Service No:7019) in France in WWI. Arthur and Mary moved to Nambour QLD in 1925, where Arthur was a Wood Merchant. In the early 1930s the family moved to Wallumbilla near Roma, QLD where Arthur was a Farmer.
Glen was living in Wallumbilla when he enlisted in the RAAF in August 1942. He was a Leading Aircraftman (Service No:77923) attached to Brisbane Medical Unit when he was Discharged in January 1946. Uncle Richard Norman Maller (Service No:7018) served in WWI and Uncle Wilson Maller (Service No:Q228647) served in WWII.
In 1947 Glen married Noeleen Mary Langsdorf(b1925 in Greenmount on the Darling Downs, QLD) and they settled in Redcliffe, QLD where Glen worked as a Carrier. Noeleen died in 1998 and Glen in 2013.
