The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017, refer to pages 268. Prior to the war he was a bricklayer in Victoria. He enlisted 14th July 1915 and was allocated to the 5th Infantry Battalion. He served throughout the war, and was decorated with a Romanian service award the MBC 3rd Class. He survived the war, and departed the UK for home 21st Mar 1919.
