Personal Stories
Otto Birrer of Crows Nest, Qld
Otto was the oldest of three brothers, who joined up from Crows Nest in Queensland, and served in WW1. Both Emil and Robert were also WW1 soldiers with all having their names inscribed on the Crows Nest War Memorial situated in Centenary Park, a square in the middle of the town.
