Maroon area was one that unfortunately had one of the highest loss of life per enlistment/capita during WW1.
35 families - 42 men joined 17 killed. 8 sets of brothers & numerous cousins.
Ezra & Mary Ann Harvey lost 6 grandsons.

29/7/1916 Percy William Cochrane. Died of wounds. Buried Puchevilliers France
15/3/1917 Simond George Harvey. Kia. Buried Buaulencourt France. (He enlisted at Morven)
