Leading Aircraftman Keith Richard Whittle (Service No:85923) served in the RAAF from 22 June 1945 to 9 May 1946 and was attached to W Area HQ at Discharge.
The youngest of four children, Keith was born in 1927 in Perth WA to Ernest William Whittle (b1892 in Melbourne, Victoria) and Louisa Lillian Hutchinson (b1896 in Perth, WA). Ernest (a Grocer) and Louisa married in 1917 in Perth WA and lived in Jarrahdale and Perth where Ernest was a Clerk and Storekeeper before retiring to Rockingham, WA.
Keith was a Musician in Perth, WA when he enlisted in 1945 and returned to Perth following his WWII service. In the early 1950s he was working as a Clerk in Perth WA when he married Marie Sylvia. The couple settled in Mt Hawthorne, Perth and later North Beach, Perth where Keith worked as a Clerk and Sales Manager. Keith died in 1995.
