Corporal Ernest Lloyd Heazlewood (Service No:88162) enlisted in the RAAF on 23 November 1942 and was attached to OS HQ RAAF London (an administrative unit established in London during WWII) when he was Discharged on 16 April 1946.

Bob was born in 1912 at Ulverstone in Tasmania, the eighth of nine children of George Frederick Norman Lloyd (b1872 at Campbell Town in Tasmania) and Sarah Hannah Heazlewood (b1873 at Port Sorrell, Tasmania). George (a Builder) and Sarah married in 1898 at Ulverstone where they settled and raised their family and George worked as a Builder and Bricklayer.

Bob was working as a Book Keeper in 1932 when he married Stella Margaret Stanton (b1911 in Devonport, Tasmania). Bob and Stella lived in Circular Head and Ulverstone where Bob was a Book Keeper and Accountant before retiring to Frankston in Victoria. Stella died in 1980 and Bob in 1982.
