Notes on Jack Nicholls
Jack was stationed in England flying fighter planes which included the coveted Spitfire. Whilst in England Jack met and married Margaret in 1943. After the war, he returned to Australia and went on to gain a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1950. He worked as a physicist for the C.S.I.R.O. [source: Colac Family History Project/WW2 Honour Roll]
