Brother of Private James Barry (Jackson) who survived war and returned home.
Intelligence report 10th August 17 - Quiet battle day - No artillery enemy incursion to an advance post in front of "Beek Farm" Lewis gun and rifle fire only. Only 1 enemy escaped. For the 24 hours 6 dead.
