Daughter of John Stanley FAIRBAIRN and Lily Jane nee HANDFORD of 288 Point Nepean Road, Frankston, Vic.
June trained at the Bendigo Base Hospital and was appointed a Commission on 09 July 1944. Prior to this she was employed at the Kensington Trained Nurses Club at 5 Kensinton Road, South Yarra. In her personal interview for enlistment she is described as neat, tall and thin, wearing a summer forck and hat. Has good deportment, and was courteous. Has an artificial right eye. The enquiry regarding loss of eye and question of acceptability for service was satisfactorily answered. She was a present in private nursing, mostly for Mr. Hugh Trumble, after tow years on the staff at Hamilton Russell House.
Married to Adam Lindsay FENTON c1948
