Norma Dalton was born on the 24th of August 1922 in Marrickville Sydney and enrolled in the WRANS on the 10th of January 1942 before being attested in October of that year. Norma served at Lonsdale being employed at the US Signals unit Monterey in Melbourne. She was promoted to Leading Telegraphist in February 1943. She discharged to shore on compassionate grounds in April 1945.
In 1947 Norma married Terence Michael Conlon in Sydney. Terence had served in the Militia and the AIF as a Sapper. They lived in Hurstville for many years before retiring to Ulladulla on the NSW South Coast.
Norma Margaret Dalton passed away on the 2nd of September 1996 and is interred in Henry Lawson Gardens Panel 3 at the Woronora Cemetery in Sutherland Sydney.
