Mr. Hector Loch Batt, at one time captain of the Coburg and Port Melbourne Football Clubs, and formerly associated with Brunswick Football Club, has offered his services on behalf of the Empire, and has been accepted. He resides at Brunswick road, Brunswick.

BATT.—Killed in action May 3, 1917 (previous reported wounded and missing), Pte. Hector L. Batt, 22nd Battalion, late Victorian Railways, dearly beloved husband of Nell Batt, of Cheltenham, late  Brunswick, loved father of Thelma and James, aged 83 years.
