George Frampton Anderson was originally born in Wentworth New South Wales but eventually moved to Renmark. In his early life he was a farmer. He lived with his mother Emily Eliza Anderson. George was single at the time of enlisting.
George Frampton Anderson enlisted in the AIF on the 10th of December 1915 and was ranked as a Private. He was only 24 at the time and his height was 5 feet 11. He departed from Adelaide, South Australia, on board RMS Mongolia on the 9th of March 1916. George Frampton Anderson was ranked from the nominal role as a bombardier and his war service was at the Western front. He eventually returned back to Australia on 22nd May 1919.
He died 26th January 1916 when he was 71 and is commemorated at Centennial Park Cemetery.
