Son of Guildford Dudley Hay and Martha Hay; husband of Maud Hay, of Bundanoon, New South Wales
The sad news has been received that Trooper Digby Hay, second son of the late Mr. G. D. Hay, and brother of Mr. Frank Hay, of Goulburn, died on the 4th Febru ary from bronchial pneumonia.
Trooper Hay, who left last April, was at first in the Camel Corps, and on that being disbanded was placed in the first division of the Light Horse. When he enlisted he was in the office of the Goulburn branch of Hill, Clark and Co.
He was 41 years of age, and leaves a widow and two children, who reside at Moss Vale. Trooper Hay was well known in Crookwell, and and was deservedly most popular.
The news of his death will be learned with sincere regret. — "Argyle Liberal."
