Son of Stephen Uridge and Hannah Amelia Uridge nee Bailey of Mourilyan, QLD. Brother of George Stanbridge who commenced return to Australia on 26 Spetember 1917  having served with the 4th Pioneer Battalion.

13 September 1915 - enlisted at Townsville, QLD, with the 25th Battalion and with the rank of Private.

24 April 1917 - transferred to the 69th Battalion

25 April 1917 - letter A added to his service number now 4244A

19 September 1917 - transferred to the 25th Battalion

17 July 1918 - recommended for the Military Medal for repairing and maintaining telephone communicatins between under heavy shelling.

Commonwealth of Australia Gazette on 14 March 1919,  page 426, position 33

12 October 1918 - transferred to the 26th Battalion

4 June 1919 - commenced return to Australia aboard Mahai disembarking on 20 July 1919 at Sydney for onward travel to Brisbane

Medals: Military Medal, British War Medal, Victory Medal

4 September 1919 - discharged at the 1st Military District.

On 18 August 1924 Henry married Catherine Owen in QLD
